Yellow Flag Awards Ceremony 2022
The Yellow Flag Awards Ceremony 2022 took place on March 3rd!
The event was run online for first time ever, and it showcased the wonderful work of five schools, two primary and three post primary, in achieving Yellow Flag status. Congratulations to:
- Holy Faith Junior School Ennis
- Firhouse Educate Together
- St. Tiernan’s Community School Balally
- St. Brigid’s Secondary School Killarney
- Grange Community College Donaghmede
The ceremony was hosted by RTE Presenter, Emer O’Neill, and included a very special performance by Ireland’s Got Talent finalist and Traveller woman, Sharyn Ward.
Minister Norma Foley visited St. Brigid’s Secondary School in Killarney the next day to mark their achievement. The students and teachers there did a wonderful job of showcasing their work around diversity and inclusion, and it was a very positive visit for all involved!
